William Katt Expands Practice to Illinois
September, 2003 - Shareholder William Katt was admitted to the bar in Illinois and was licensed in the US District Court in Northern Illinois. "Because of increasing requests from clients to handle matters in Illinois I felt that it was necessary to be licensed there to better serve our clients," says Katt.

September, 2003 - On July 30, 2001 promotional product distributor HALO Industries Inc. filed for bankruptcy protection under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. HALO, based in Sterling, Illinois with offices in eight countries worldwide has annual sales of approximately $175 million. Bic Graphic USA Manufacturing Co, Inc. has retained Leib & Katt to protect its interests in a filed claim wherein HALO was seeking reimbursement for payments made to Bic.
