Katherine Kuchan Accepts Position with Covenant Healthcare
It is with much regret that Leib & Katt announces that Katherine Kuchan (BSN cum laude [1984] and ÊJD magna cum laude [2001] from Marquette University; MSN from UW-Madison [1990]) left the firm effective 9/24/04. Katherine accepted a position with Covenant Healthcare in hospital administration where she will work in risk management. Senior shareholder Sam Leib said, "Katherine is a very bright, charming person as well as an excellent lawyer. She did some great legal work for our clients while participating as part of our medical practice defense team. We will miss her but understand her desire to become more intimately involved in the health care field. We wish her nothing but the best."
Nadya E. Shewczyk Hired by Leib & Katt
Leib & Katt is pleased to announce the hiring of Nadya E. Shewczyk as an associate with the firm. Nadya earned her BS magna cum laude from Texas Woman's University in 1999 and her JD from Marquette University in 2004. "We are excited about Nadya joining the firm. She comes highly recommended and is very enthusiastic about beginning her legal career. She will be an excellent addition to the Leib & Katt team," said Bill Katt, senior shareholder.
